Monterey County Adult Education

Whether an adult needs to upgrade basic skills, learn English, train for a new job, be retrained, or receive other assistance, Monterey County Adult Education has a program available.

Monterey County Adult Education has grown from evening classes in reading, writing and arithmetic to a comprehensive system found in schools, churches, senior centers, places of business and other locations. Art, drama, music, and other activities enhance the daily lives of adults throughout the county. In some cases, fees are charged to cover the costs of community service classes,
